🧘 Why Choose a Taichi Retreat Class?
Joining a Taichi retreat class during your Beijing holiday is the best opportunity to immerse yourself in Taichi culture, and learn to practice this art. Your Beijing tour and Taichi class can be customized according to your requirements.
Customization options include:
Short Experience: A shorter Taichi class to learn its culture and experience the basic movements.
Longer Mastery: Extended learning to practice and master Taichi for both mental and physical fitness.
We arrange Taichi classes combined with a Beijing tour in the following two ways (for private tours and private classes):
📅 Option 1: Basic Taichi Culture Learning and Practice (Class A)
This class requires half a day. You will learn essential Taichi movements and basic Taichi culture and history while practicing with a Taichi master.
Ideal For:
People who do not have time for a long stay in Beijing for holidays.
Visitors who only arrange a regular Beijing tour, typically staying for around 3–4 days.
🗓️ Option 2: Taichi Retreat Class for In-Depth Study (Class B)
This class focuses on an in-depth study of Taichi culture, history, and related philosophy. The main content is the practice of the 24 Taichi movements.
Course Objectives:
This class is not just for fun or curiosity.
It primarily aims to teach you Taichi culture and its related religion, Taoism. Taoism is the only native religion among all the main religions in China.
Practice and Health:
Practicing the 24 movements is also the main part of the content.
This series of classes can help you master the movements, allowing you to practice them yourself after the class.
It can help you become healthier on both a mental and physical level.
Time Requirement:
This class requires you to stay in Beijing for at least 7–10 days.
Every day will be arranged with half a day visiting tourist attractions and half a day for the Taichi class.
